Archives and archivists, sign up to let us know you will be participating in the #explorearchives social media activity.
Archives are amazing. Without them we could not study our personal histories or the histories of our communities or nations. There would be no historically rich novels and films. We would know nothing about the lives of our predecessors.
We want to celebrate all our wonderful archives and the invaluable work that goes into collecting, keeping and sharing the world’s memory.
As part of the Explore Your Archive week we're asking the organisations and people who look after archive collections to take to Twitter to share their work, their experiences and stories and the gems from their collections.
Each day we will have a different hashtag. You can join in for one day, or everyday.
